After graduating as a Graphic Designer, Herman started his career working with the renowned German typographer and designer Gerhard Schwekendiek, where he developed his passion for packaging, branding and typography, coupled with a keen eye for detail and good design.

 

Over 23 years in the design industry, Herman has worked on many iconic and premium South African brands.

 

After 19 years at M&A, he is a hands-on member of the team, art directing projects, photo shoots and guiding illustrators to achieve the best results.

 

Herman’s interests range from travelling, classical music, visiting galleries and museums. He also has a passionate dedication to collecting art.
